Editorial

This number marks the birth of a new section in our journal - the Nutrition and Food Sciences section a domain that progressively has gain structure and more regular contributions in this journal, specially in the last years. The main goal is to attract more and better original research that might help to disseminate and promote related knowledge in these very sensitive areas, also in the lusophone speaking countries communities. The Nutrition and Food Sciences section starts with a review paper about the anthropometry assessment, a fundamental instrument to evaluate the growth process in children and adolescents.
